Thank you so much for the work you are doing with this blog, and for sharing your journey. My daughter is 39 and has all of the daily struggles you mention throughout your blog. She too tries her best to stay positive and is constantly researching the many health issues that come with EDS / POTS / Dysautonomia.
Welcome to my blog!! I'm so happy you're here and hope you stay a while. I'm just an ordinary gal who has been married to her best friend for 13 years. I have a son who is entering into the terrifying teen years, and a daughter who is a tween, equally scary imho. I have a mild obsession to bulldogs, I have 2 and they are so spoiled. I am a Registered Nurse who was just about to start crossing the finish line of my dreams by becoming a Nurse Practitioner when I got sick. I am currently disabled and spend my time mostly within the 4 walls of my home while I'm trying to get well. I have had to fight hard for each of my diagnoses & for the best treatments, so I know how it feels to become jaded with the medical community. I am here to share all the things I wish I'd known through each phase of my chronic illness/pain journey & what I learned through overcoming something I thought would kill me. My passion is helping and healing people, since I can't work in that capacity currently I'm here sharing my story over the interwebs hoping to help someone or at least encourage you and remind you you are not alone!
